New Patients

We are always welcoming new patients at Dr. Dexter’s office. Our patient care coordinator Jessie is happy to answer any questions or concerns you might have prior to your first visit.

First Visit

We ask that you arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment to complete your new patient forms. We will also mail the forms to your home prior to your first visit or you can print/fill the forms out here and bring them to your appointment already completed. This will help ensure a speedy check-in.

X-Rays

If you have had a full-mouth set of X-rays taken within the past 3 years at another dental office, you can request that your records are sent to our office. Alternatively, we can request to have them transferred for you with advance notice.

Payment

Cash or check payments can be made and are eligible for a 5% discount. We accept credit cards including Visa, Mastercard and American Express; however they are not eligible for a discount.

Changing Your Scheduled Appointment

We understand that patients occasionally may need to change an appointment, but we kindly ask that you let us know at least 2 business days in advance.

Failing to keep a scheduled appointment or canceling less than 24 hours in advance will result in a fee of $75.

Credit Program

Our office accepts CareCredit, a healthcare credit card, which you can use to pay for your dental treatments/procedures in installments. Care credit is based upon approval and can be used to pay for all your dental needs. Care credit is a great option when you are on a budget or don’t have dental insurance available. Insurance

If you carry dental insurance, please bring your dental insurance card along with a photo ID. If you don’t have insurance, it is not a problem.

We will bill your insurance directly for dental services provided. Estimated copayments and deductibles not covered by your insurance carrier are requested at the time of the service.

Medical insurance will be billed for oral appliance treatment of obstructive sleep apnea and most TMD treatments. Unlike dental insurance, there are specific provisions within most insurance plans to cover services and we will work with you to check and confirm your estimated insurance benefit.
