Use mouth taping to improve your sleep and your health.
Mouth taping is not the same as, and should not be confused with, taping your mouth shut. Mouth taping is a postage stamp size of tape lightly applied across your top and lower lip. In contrast to taping your mouth shut, mouth taping uses a minimal amount of surgical tape that produces a slight resistance to opening your mouth. It trains and reprograms you to breathe through your nose and not your mouth, encouraging nose breathing and discouraging mouth breathing.
5 Benefits of mouth taping:
1. Leads to improved sleep
2. Improves oral health
3. Can reduce snoring
4. Can boost your immunity
5. Can help lower blood pressure
How to mouth tape:
At bedtime, center a postage stamp size piece of surgical tape across the top and bottom lip. Never use duct tape or other adhesive tapes not intended for application on the skin. Do not completely cover your mouth with tape; one little piece will suffice.
I recommend 3M Micropore surgical tape. It is biocompatibility tested to ensure that it will not cause irritation, is hypoallergenic, latex-free, and gluten-free. Even individuals with adhesive allergies can safely and comfortably use it.
Try mouth taping to achieve the quality of sleep that you’ve always dreamt of having.
