Good for the goose …

is good for the gander! Yes, dentists need dental work too and, like a lot of people, taking care of your health is a good way to start a new year. So January 2nd I was in the dental chair getting a jump on improving my dental health in 2013.

Being a patient helps me to recalibrate my experience and certainly helps with improving my empathy and compassion in being a provider. So truly, what’s good for the goose is good for the gander, but more importantly it’s practicing what you preach and trying to be healthy.

The view is definitely different from the dental chair.

I’m surprised no one has told me how bad the materials taste! Just kidding of course, I hear it daily and I concur … it tastes terrible!!
