Landscapes Near and Far, January-March 2018 (Q1)

Where do you find your inspiration?

I find inspiration when fully immersed in nature. I prefer photographing natural landscapes, where the earth is doing most of the work in order to get a beautiful photograph.

Favorite thing to do in or around Eugene…

I love going for a hike at Spencer’s Butte on the weekends and on cold rainy days, I love going to Townshends downtown for a warm cup of tea.

Quote that inspires your creativity…

“The more clearly we can focus our attention on the wonders and realities of the universe about us, the less taste we shall have for destruction.”
—Rachel Carson

Landscapes Near and Far
January-March 2018 (Q1)

These photos have been taken in Miller’s short time in Oregon and Cape Town in the past two and half years. They display the beautiful landscapes of the world that bring people, like herself, outside everyday.

Zoey Miller is a third year International Studies student at the University of Oregon. She studies international environmental issues and in her free time she love to go hiking with her camera in tow all around Eugene.
