Nature in Eugene and Abroad, April–June 2017 (Q2)

Where do you find your inspiration?

In the things that grow from the earth, hummingbirds, the ever changing light and nature that is all around us. I also have a leaning towards very old architecture.

Favorite thing to do in or around Eugene…

Watch hummingbirds, walk with friends, take photos, watch the daily changes on Spencer’s Butte

Quote that inspires your creativity…

“Let yourself be silently drawn by the stronger pull of what you love.”
—Rumi and Beauty is Everywhere

Hummingbirds in Eugene, and flowers and blossoms from Eugene and Provence

Paula spent her career trying to relieve the world from using fossil fuels and turn to alternative forms of energy. She came to Eugene Oregon to pursue solar architecture and ended up working in energy management and resource planning at EWEB. She actively pursues growing food, and offering a safe habitat for hummingbirds on her ½ acre in Eugene. While raising her daughter, Paula pursued graphic design and followed the path that photography has taken her. She now has an art card and print business that focuses on nature and the world around her.
