Where do you find your inspiration?

Let’s see what hides beyond the lens. Patience, flexibility and a partnership with
the subject opens a new dimension of reality.

Favorite thing to do in or around Eugene…

Kesey Square, Delta Pond, Owen Rose Garden, Voodoo Doughnut, Autzen Stadium and uniquely Eugene people. What more could a photographer ever hope for?

Quote that inspires your creativity…

“Life is a wonderful gift if you focus on the good stuff.”

July–September 2017 (Q3)

These photos share my love of my new life in Oregon.

Biography

Following a 40-year career focused on Broadway, Rock and Roll and Higher Education Michael DeLuise had enough of life on the east coast. In 2015 he packed up and moved to Eugene, Oregon to smell the roses and be near his two daughters and granddaughter. He took his wife, cat and camera.

Quickly falling in love with his new home and new neighbors Mr. DeLuise has actively joined the Eugene community. Currently he sits on the Downtown Neighborhood Association Committee, the City of Eugene’s Alternative Transportation Committee and serves as Secretary of Osher Lifelong Learning Institute of the U of O (OLLI-UO). In the summer of 2016 he created Eugene’s first Beautiful Bikes Pageant in partnership with Sunday Streets and Party in the Parks.
